The Mini Diaries of a Demi-God: 26-Words

Dear Diary,

Years ago my father taught to me "The most hurtful words are said by those you have loved and the kindest words are spoken by those you do not know." I thought this was the way the worlds functioned, and nobody could change it. My father was very wrong.
As I stared into Thor's shocked eyes, he froze in place. I could see it in his face how hard he was trying to think about my condition. Before I had shown myself to Thor, I did not once think about how he would react, how much he would be appalled by what was happening to my body. Thor took after our father much more than myself; and I just realized what that means. He would tell our father about my condition and I would be banished far away from Asgard, because my father is an intolerable fool. As I panicked in my mind about being banished, Thor wrapped his arms around me and placed my face on his shoulder he spoke with the most sincerity I had ever heard softly in my ear, "You are my brother, Loki. And I will love you forever, no matter what happens between us, you will be my brother forever." He held me in place and looked deep in to my eyes, touching my soul. "I will protect you, from anything that may harm you. No matter what or who it might be, I would give my life for you, Loki." He kissed my forehead and smiled. "This goes for your child as well, I haven't met the little one yet," he said softly placing his hand on my belly. "Even if he is half as wonderful as his father, I am sure I will love him just as much." A tear began in my eye as the little one kicked in my stomach, and before long tears poured out from my eyes as I cried into Thor's shirt.
